Mikey Castillo’s Blush Kaleidoscope 101

The whole point(and delight) of a blush collection, is to enable a woman to create infinite looks by blending two or more of the multiple hues in the Blush Kaleidoscope. You can take a matte blush designed for day or business wear, and blend with a shimmering hue to add sex appeal and take into night. Can’t decide between coquettish coral or ingenue pink? Combine the two, and enjoy simultaneously(no waiting)! The blended look appears modern and brings vitality to the face.
Fun Tip: Classic Mauve is very pretty, but also very conservative. To modernize the look, blend the gold/bronze hue in the blush collection to warm up the cooler tone, creating a harmonized balance to the cheeks.
Application Tip: Applying blush as high as possible to the apples of the cheeks softens the features of the face, and appears more modern. The old fashion sweep towards the ears can look a bit harsh, while making the face appear more masculine. Instead of streaking blush on, try using the Kabuki brush to stamp color on the cheeks, then gently fade away the color towards the outer perimeters of the face. The blush will appear more natural this way.
xx,
Mikey
